Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat chicken dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Optionally sear chicken in skillet 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
  4. Whisk heavy cream, Parmesan, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme in a small bowl.
  5. Place chicken in greased baking dish and pour sauce over top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake 20–25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F. Remove foil in last 5 minutes for lightly browned top.
  7. Let rest 5 minutes, slice, and serve with sauce. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a green salad for a complete meal.
