- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat chicken dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Optionally sear chicken in skillet 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
- Whisk heavy cream, Parmesan, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme in a small bowl.
- Place chicken in greased baking dish and pour sauce over top.
- Cover with foil and bake 20–25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F. Remove foil in last 5 minutes for lightly browned top.
- Let rest 5 minutes, slice, and serve with sauce. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a green salad for a complete meal.
- Searing adds color and flavor but is optional.
