- 4 pieces cod fillets (fresh or thawed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and mix in Parmesan until smooth. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Place cod fillets in a baking dish. Pour cream sauce over the fillets.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until cod flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Add an extra squeeze of fresh lemon juice just before serving for brightness.
