Ingredients

  • 4 pieces cod fillets (fresh or thawed)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and mix in Parmesan until smooth. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place cod fillets in a baking dish. Pour cream sauce over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until cod flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve.
