These air fryer banana bread donut holes are easy 2-ingredient treats perfect for fixing your banana bread craving in less than 15 minutes. Soft inside, lightly crisp outside, and rolled in cinnamon sugar for that classic donut flavor.

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 8 donut holes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1 large banana)
  • 3/4 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unrefined sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted (or vegan butter)
  • 2–3 tsp melted coconut oil (for kneading)

Instructions

  1. Mash banana into a smooth puree, measuring exactly 1/2 cup.
  2. Stir in flour until lumps form, then knead with lightly oiled hands to form a sticky dough ball.
  3. Grease hands with coconut oil, roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls, and place on parchment paper.
  4. Spray donut holes with oil and place in greased air fryer basket, spacing 1 inch apart.
  5. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 6–7 minutes until golden and puffy.
  6. Brush warm donut holes with melted coconut oil and roll in cinnamon sugar.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can replace self-rising flour with 1 cup all-purpose flour plus 2 tsp baking powder.
  • Use monk fruit or coconut sugar for a sugar-free option.
  • Store in an airtight container up to 2 days at room temperature.
  • Can also be baked in a mini muffin pan at 350°F for 15 minutes.
