- 1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1 large banana)
- 3/4 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unrefined sugar
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted (or vegan butter)
- 2–3 tsp melted coconut oil (for kneading)
Instructions
- Mash banana into a smooth puree, measuring exactly 1/2 cup.
- Stir in flour until lumps form, then knead with lightly oiled hands to form a sticky dough ball.
- Grease hands with coconut oil, roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls, and place on parchment paper.
- Spray donut holes with oil and place in greased air fryer basket, spacing 1 inch apart.
- Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 6–7 minutes until golden and puffy.
- Brush warm donut holes with melted coconut oil and roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can replace self-rising flour with 1 cup all-purpose flour plus 2 tsp baking powder.
- Use monk fruit or coconut sugar for a sugar-free option.
- Store in an airtight container up to 2 days at room temperature.
- Can also be baked in a mini muffin pan at 350°F for 15 minutes.
