Meatloaf Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  3. Take a golf ball-sized portion, flatten in your palm, add ~1 tbsp cheese in the center, and fold meat around to seal.
  4. Place stuffed meatballs on baking sheet. Brush tops with ketchup and mustard mixture.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days.
  • Freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat in 350°F (175°C) oven for 10–15 minutes.
