Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds (halal-certified beef or turkey recommended)
  • 4 cups baby potatoes, washed and halved or quartered
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or mixed blend

For Serving (Optional)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut baby potatoes into halves or quarters.
  3. Slice smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds.
  4. Mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
  5. Toss potatoes with olive oil and half of the seasoning mix.
  6. Line baking sheet with parchment and spread potatoes evenly. Add sausage on top.
  7. Roast 35–40 minutes, stirring halfway, until potatoes are golden and tender.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar over potatoes and sausage. Return to oven 5 minutes until melted.
  9. Garnish with parsley, serve hot with sour cream if desired.
