- 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk (any type)
- Flavorings
- 4–5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1–2 tsp vanilla syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- Ice (optional, for iced version)
Instructions
- Simmer cherries with 2 tbsp water in a small saucepan for 3–5 minutes until soft. Gently mash to release juices.
- Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Steep Earl Grey tea for 3–5 minutes, then remove tea bag or strain leaves.
- Add milk to the cherries in the saucepan along with the optional cinnamon stick. Heat gently while stirring.
- Stir vanilla syrup into the milk mixture. Pour brewed tea into a mug, then strain in the milk-cherry mixture, pressing cherries to extract juice.
- Serve hot, or let cool and pour over ice for an iced version. Garnish if desired.
