A comforting cherry vanilla Earl Grey milk tea that blends bright bergamot citrus with sweet cherries and smooth vanilla. Enjoy it hot for a cozy moment or iced for a refreshing twist.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Scale
  • Tea Base
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type)
  • Flavorings
  • 4–5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1–2 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
  • Ice (optional, for iced version)

Instructions

  1. Simmer cherries with 2 tbsp water in a small saucepan for 3–5 minutes until soft. Gently mash to release juices.
  2. Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Steep Earl Grey tea for 3–5 minutes, then remove tea bag or strain leaves.
  3. Add milk to the cherries in the saucepan along with the optional cinnamon stick. Heat gently while stirring.
  4. Stir vanilla syrup into the milk mixture. Pour brewed tea into a mug, then strain in the milk-cherry mixture, pressing cherries to extract juice.
  5. Serve hot, or let cool and pour over ice for an iced version. Garnish if desired.

Notes

  • A soothing milk tea with Earl Grey’s citrus notes balanced by sweet cherries and vanilla.
  • Use non-dairy milk to keep it vegan and dairy-free.
