These Chocolate Peanut Butter Valentine’s Hearts are an easy no-bake dessert made with a creamy peanut butter filling and coated in rich chocolate. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, gifting, or anytime you want a sweet, melt-in-your-mouth treat.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 20 hearts

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1012 oz chocolate, chopped (semi-sweet, milk, or candy coating)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until fully combined.
  4. Press mixture evenly into prepared dish, about 1/2-inch thick.
  5. Freeze until firm enough to cut.
  6. Cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Freeze hearts again until firm.
  8. Melt chocolate and dip each heart until fully coated. Tap off excess.
  9. Place on parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until chocolate sets.

Notes

  • Work with only a few hearts at a time to prevent softening.
  • Store in the refrigerator or freezer for longer freshness.
