- 1 cup creamy peanut butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 10–12 oz chocolate, chopped (semi-sweet, milk, or candy coating)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
- In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar until fully combined.
- Press mixture evenly into prepared dish, about 1/2-inch thick.
- Freeze until firm enough to cut.
- Cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze hearts again until firm.
- Melt chocolate and dip each heart until fully coated. Tap off excess.
- Place on parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until chocolate sets.
Notes
- Work with only a few hearts at a time to prevent softening.
- Store in the refrigerator or freezer for longer freshness.
