- 10 slices white sandwich bread
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2–3 tbsp butter for frying
Instructions
- Remove crusts and flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin.
- Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and 2 tbsp cinnamon. Spread on each bread slice, leaving edges clear.
- Roll up each slice tightly and seal edges gently.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and vanilla in a shallow bowl.
- Heat skillet over medium heat with butter. Dip each roll in egg mixture, then place seam-side down in skillet.
- Cook 2–3 minutes, rotating to brown all sides.
Notes
- Use fresh, soft bread for best rolling.
- Do not oversoak in egg mixture.
- Keep heat medium to avoid burning.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
- Freezes well up to 1 month.
