- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for 5–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add noodles and toss to coat in the buttery sauce.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese (if using) and toss again to combine.
- Slice chicken into strips and serve over buttered noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
- Chicken thighs can be substituted for a juicier option.
