- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion, and cook for about 7 minutes until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Add the chopped cabbage and cook for about 8 minutes until softened.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream and sour cream. Mix until combined.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Swap in ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add mushrooms or bell peppers for extra veggies.
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or cayenne.
