- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 6 sandwich buns, toasted
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the sliced onion and minced garlic over the chicken.
- In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, and smoked paprika. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Serve the BBQ chicken on toasted sandwich buns.
