Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds steak cut into bite size pieces (sirloin, london broil, chuck roast, or stew beef)
  • 1 cup Dr. Pepper
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak bites quickly for just a few seconds on each side to get a little color.
  2. Add the steak bites to the crockpot.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the Dr. Pepper, honey, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the steak bites.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the steak bites are fork tender.
  6. If the sauce is too thin at the end of cooking, combine the water with cornstarch and stir into the sauce to thicken.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
