Customize it with optional add-ins, serve it with your favorite sides, and enjoy a quick, delicious meal your whole family will love!

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz macaroni pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Optional:
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ¼ cup chopped pickles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease and return the beef to the skillet.
  2. Add seasonings: Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the beef. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add pasta and liquids: Pour in the beef broth and milk. Stir in the macaroni. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Add cheese: Reduce heat to low. Add the shredded cheddar and stir until melted and creamy. Add a splash of milk if needed to adjust consistency.
  5. Optional add-ins: Stir in diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, or chopped pickles for extra flavor if desired.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or more cheese. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Add more broth or milk if you prefer a saucier consistency.
  • Pickles, ketchup, and mustard make this taste even more like a true cheeseburger.
  • Great with a simple side salad or steamed veggies.
