Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz macaroni pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ¼ tsp pepper
- Optional:
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- ¼ cup chopped pickles
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease and return the beef to the skillet.
- Add seasonings: Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the beef. Stir well to combine.
- Add pasta and liquids: Pour in the beef broth and milk. Stir in the macaroni. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Add cheese: Reduce heat to low. Add the shredded cheddar and stir until melted and creamy. Add a splash of milk if needed to adjust consistency.
- Optional add-ins: Stir in diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, or chopped pickles for extra flavor if desired.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or more cheese. Serve hot.
Notes
- Add more broth or milk if you prefer a saucier consistency.
- Pickles, ketchup, and mustard make this taste even more like a true cheeseburger.
- Great with a simple side salad or steamed veggies.
