- 6 slices of bread (white or brioche)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Flatten each slice of bread, spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar, and roll tightly.
- Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture.
- Cook in a pan on all sides until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Remove toothpicks if used and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
