- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and scrape up browned bits.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add heavy cream, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Stir until melted and combined.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Spoon creamy chicken and sauce over cooked rice and garnish with parsley.

- Use fresh garlic and onions for the best flavor.
- Let sauce thicken for richer texture.
- Sear chicken well to lock in juices.
