- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, chicken broth, and Marsala wine.
- Place chicken in the crockpot, pour the sauce over it, and top with sliced mushrooms.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream before serving.
Notes
- Optional: garnish with fresh parsley or additional Parmesan for serving.
