Crockpot Mississippi Meatballs are an easy, flavorful dish made with tender frozen meatballs slow cooked in a rich sauce of au jus gravy, ranch seasoning, butter, and tangy pepperoncini peppers. The result is a savory, slightly zesty meal that works perfectly as an appetizer or served over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.

  • Total Time: 3-4 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6–8 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (26-ounce) bag frozen meatballs
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar sliced pepperoncini peppers (with juice)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter, diced

Instructions

  1. Place frozen meatballs in the crockpot and sprinkle with au jus mix and ranch seasoning mix.
  2. Pour in the sliced pepperoncini peppers along with their juice and add 1/2 cup water.
  3. Add diced butter cubes on top of the meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot as an appetizer or over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, use only half of the pepperoncini juice.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir into the crockpot near the end of cooking.
  • These meatballs are excellent served over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice for a complete meal.
