- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, mix barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, coating evenly.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return to the crockpot and mix with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
