Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, coating evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return to the crockpot and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
