Instructions
- Preheat oven and bake the pie crust according to package directions. Let cool completely.
- In a saucepan, whisk water, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened.
- Whisk in strawberry gelatin and let cool, stirring occasionally.
- Arrange sliced strawberries in the cooled crust.
- Pour the cooled gelatin mixture over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- Serve chilled with whipped cream if desired.
