- 28–32 oz frozen French fries
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven or air fryer according to fry package instructions.
- Spread fries on a baking sheet and bake until crispy and golden.
- Melt butter in a saucepan or pressure cooker on sauté mode. Add brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until fragrant.
- Transfer fries to a large bowl and toss with the seasoned butter mixture.
- Add ranch dressing, flour, and milk to the pressure cooker. Stir, seal, and cook on high pressure for 3 minutes. Quick release.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until smooth and melted.
- Drizzle cheese sauce over fries or serve on the side.
- Serve immediately.

- Use freshly shredded cheese for smoother melting.
- Add cayenne for extra heat or substitute blue cheese dressing for variation.
- Store fries and sauce separately to maintain crispiness.
