- 16 oz (450g) fresh whole mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and trim stems if needed. Leave whole or halve for more roasted texture.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Toss mushrooms in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Spread mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Notes
- Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds and fresh herbs before serving.
- Adjust honey or soy sauce to taste for desired sweetness or saltiness.
