  • 1 cup diced pineapple (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Sliced green onions (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Bell peppers (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare chicken breasts. Leave whole or cut into smaller pieces and place at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, diced pineapple, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ground ginger, and black pepper until sugar dissolves.
