- 1/4 cup water
- 2 pounds baby carrots, rinsed
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into 4–6 pieces
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker and add the baby carrots.
- Top the carrots with brown sugar, honey, and salt. Place butter pieces on top.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours, stirring once after 2 hours.
- Spoon the carrots into a serving bowl or platter. Garnish with fresh dill if desired.
Notes
- Chopped Italian parsley can be used as a substitute for dill as a garnish.
