Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 pounds baby carrots, rinsed
  • 1/4 cup butter, cut into 46 pieces
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker and add the baby carrots.
  2. Top the carrots with brown sugar, honey, and salt. Place butter pieces on top.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours, stirring once after 2 hours.
  4. Spoon the carrots into a serving bowl or platter. Garnish with fresh dill if desired.

Notes

  • Chopped Italian parsley can be used as a substitute for dill as a garnish.
