- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 oz freeze-dried strawberries, ground into a fine powder
- 4 cups rice or corn Chex cereal (or Crispix)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Place freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor and blend until a fine powder forms.
- In a bowl, mix the strawberry powder with powdered sugar until evenly combined. Transfer to a large freezer bag and set aside.
- Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Add cereal to a large bowl and gently fold in the melted white chocolate until evenly coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal to the freezer bag with the strawberry-sugar mixture. Seal and gently shake until fully coated.
- Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
- Store in an airtight container and enjoy.
Notes
- Work gently to avoid crushing the cereal.
- Do not refrigerate for long-term storage as moisture can make the coating sticky.
