Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add zucchini and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat with garlic butter.
- Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until steak is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute zucchini with bell peppers or broccoli florets.
- Adjust the amount of garlic to suit your taste.
- Make sure the skillet is hot before adding steak to achieve a good sear.
