Ghost OREO Ball Truffles are quick, no-bake delights that combine crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a white chocolate coating for a fun Halloween treat. Perfect for parties, these cute little ghosts are creamy, chocolatey, and absolutely spook-tacular!

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 truffles

Ingredients

Scale

For the Truffle Mixture

  • 36 Oreo cookies (Swap for gluten-free Oreos if needed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (use full-fat for richer taste)

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 12 oz white chocolate (feel free to try milk or dark chocolate)

For the Decoration

  • Sprinkles or edible eyes (optional for decoration)

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese until well blended and smooth.
  3. Scoop portions of the mixture and roll into balls, shaping them into ghost-like figures.
  4. Place the truffles onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill for about 15 minutes.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in short 20–30 second bursts in the microwave, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Dip each ghost truffle into the melted white chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  7. Before the coating sets, add sprinkles or edible eyes for decoration.
  8. Let the truffles sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens completely, about 30 minutes.

Notes

  • These truffles can stay out for a couple of hours during parties but keep them cool for the best texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
  • Use candy melts for a smoother, glossier coating if desired.
