- 1 lb ground turkey (lean)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 5 oz fresh spinach, chopped or whole
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1/2 cup diced red bell peppers
- Optional: 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- Optional: mozzarella instead of cheddar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Cook ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in softened cream cheese until fully melted and combined.
- Let mixture cool for 5 minutes, then stir in beaten egg and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and top with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

- Use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps.
- Freshly shred your cheese for better melting and texture.
