Crispy, salty, and low-carb homemade cheese crackers that are perfect as a snack or alongside soups and salads. Quick to make with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) grated cheddar or gouda cheese
  • 50 g (½ cup) almond flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Add cheese and egg. Mix into a dough.
  3. Roll out dough between two parchment sheets to 3–5 mm thickness.
  4. Remove top parchment and cut into squares or shapes.
  5. Transfer to baking tray and bake 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool completely.
  6. Serve as a snack or with dips, soups, or salads.

Notes

  • Firm up completely as they cool for perfect crispness.
  • Optional spices can be adjusted to taste.
  • Store in an airtight container for several days.
