- Pasta Base:
- 2 cups corkscrew-shaped pasta (any shape works)
- Dressing:
- 1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (or low-fat/Greek yogurt)
- Salad:
- 2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
- 4 slices crispy cooked bacon
- 1 cup cubed Muenster cheese
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 avocado, chopped (add before serving)
Instructions
- Boil pasta in lightly salted water until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together Italian dressing and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Add cooled pasta, chopped chicken, bacon, cubed cheese, celery, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and avocado. Stir gently until evenly coated.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or basil for added freshness.
- Can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for 3–4 days.
