- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
For the Firecracker Sauce:
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (mild & sweet or spicy)
- 3 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, grated or minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together buffalo sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined. Set aside.
- Heat avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground chicken, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in broccoli, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the firecracker sauce over the chicken and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until broccoli reaches desired tenderness.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.
