Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

For the Firecracker Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (mild & sweet or spicy)
  • 3 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated or minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together buffalo sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
  4. Stir in broccoli, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Pour the firecracker sauce over the chicken and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until broccoli reaches desired tenderness.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.
