This scallion chicken recipe is ready in 20 minutes! Tender chicken bathed in an Asian flavored sauce with plenty of scallions – perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 400 g chicken thighs (cut into small pieces)
  • 2 cups scallion (chopped, separate white and green parts)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch

Instructions

  1. Mix chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, and corn starch. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and pan fry chicken until fully cooked.
  3. Add white parts of scallions and cook until softened. Cover if using larger or bone-in pieces.
  4. Add green parts of scallions and stir 10–20 seconds.
  5. Sprinkle more pepper or scallions if desired and serve with rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Ensure chicken is fully cooked for safety.
  • Use a non-stick pan for best results.
  • You can add sugar or honey if a sweeter taste is preferred.
