Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon delivers juicy, flavorful salmon in just 30 minutes. Infused with lemon and garlic butter, this easy baked salmon is perfect for a quick, restaurant-quality dinner at home.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet
  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
  • 23 tablespoons honey
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place salmon skin-side down on a foil sheet with edges raised to contain the buttery mixture.
  2. Nestle lemon slices under salmon.
  3. Melt butter in microwave-safe bowl. Stir in lemon juice, honey, and garlic. Pour three-quarters over salmon; reserve remainder.
  4. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Seal foil tightly; marinate 10–15 minutes if desired.
  5. Bake foil packet on a baking sheet for 17 minutes.
  6. Remove top foil, keeping edges raised. Broil salmon 5–10 minutes, optionally spooning reserved butter over top, until golden.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Broil on second rack if concerned about burning; watch closely.
  • Salmon is best served fresh but keeps in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days.
