  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mushroom gravy
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • 1 tbsp water (optional for thickening)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape into 1–1.5 inch meatballs.
  3. Optional: Brown meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for added flavor.
  4. Place meatballs into slow cooker.
  5. Pour beef broth and mushroom gravy over meatballs.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours until meatballs are cooked through and tender.
  7. Optional: Mix cornstarch and water, stir into slow cooker 30 minutes before serving to thicken gravy.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley, with mashed potatoes, rice, or preferred side.
