- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup mushroom gravy
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- 1 tbsp water (optional for thickening)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape into 1–1.5 inch meatballs.
- Optional: Brown meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for added flavor.
- Place meatballs into slow cooker.
- Pour beef broth and mushroom gravy over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours until meatballs are cooked through and tender.
- Optional: Mix cornstarch and water, stir into slow cooker 30 minutes before serving to thicken gravy.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley, with mashed potatoes, rice, or preferred side.
Notes
- For added flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or onions to the gravy.
- Serve with a side of your choice for a complete meal.
