Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp (28g) butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in beef broth, scraping the skillet.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return steak bites to the skillet, coat in sauce, and stir.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve over pasta or with crusty bread.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
  • Adjust garlic to taste for a milder or stronger flavor.
