- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
- Optional add-ins: 1 cup caramelized onions, 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, 2 tablespoons dried parsley, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper or hot sauce, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 cup cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Set aside.
- Melt remaining butter in skillet; sauté garlic 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and honey, scraping up browned bits.
- Return chicken to skillet; spoon sauce over chicken. Simmer 5–7 minutes until sauce thickens.
- If using cheese, sprinkle on top and cover briefly until melted.
- Garnish with parsley and optional caramelized onions. Serve hot with sides of choice.
Notes
- Add red pepper flakes for extra spice.
- Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
