- 1.2 kg chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 4 large garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and set a wire rack on top.
- Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Toss wings to coat evenly.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a small pan over low heat, add minced garlic, and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Transfer hot wings to a large bowl, pour garlic butter over, and toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Ensure wings are patted dry to achieve maximum crispiness.
- Optional cayenne adds extra heat—adjust to taste.
