  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 4 portions

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.2 kg chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 large garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and set a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Toss wings to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small pan over low heat, add minced garlic, and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Transfer hot wings to a large bowl, pour garlic butter over, and toss to coat.
  8. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ensure wings are patted dry to achieve maximum crispiness.
  • Optional cayenne adds extra heat—adjust to taste.
