- 1 medium fresh pineapple (about 3 cups chunks)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cut pineapple into 1-inch chunks after removing top, bottom, and skin.
- Toss pineapple with oil, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, and salt.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes.
- Place pineapple in a single layer and cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Serve warm as dessert or snack.
Notes
- Do not overcook to avoid mushy texture.
- Fresh pineapple gives best caramelization.
- Shake basket halfway for even cooking.
- Optional: add chili, lime, or serve with yogurt or ice cream.
