- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- Parsley and red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Season steak with olive oil, salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Cook in slow cooker on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and milk, then stir in ranch seasoning and simmer.
- Add cheddar and Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth.
- Combine cooked pasta and steak with sauce and toss well.
- Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
- Add bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Chicken can be used instead of steak for a lighter version.
- Let sauce thicken before combining for best texture.
