- 1½ lbs steak bites
- 5 tbsp butter (divided)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add steak bites and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss tortellini in Alfredo sauce until well coated.
- Plate tortellini and top with steak bites. Drizzle remaining garlic butter from pan over the top before serving.
Notes
- Let steak rest a few minutes before serving for juicier bites.
- Add red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
- Fresh Parmesan melts best for a smooth sauce.
