Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Alfredo Tortellini is a rich, indulgent comfort meal featuring tender seared steak bites tossed in garlic butter, served over cheese tortellini coated in a velvety homemade Alfredo sauce. A quick but restaurant-style dinner perfect for busy nights.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs steak bites
  • 5 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add steak bites and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss tortellini in Alfredo sauce until well coated.
  7. Plate tortellini and top with steak bites. Drizzle remaining garlic butter from pan over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Let steak rest a few minutes before serving for juicier bites.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
  • Fresh Parmesan melts best for a smooth sauce.
