- 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 4 cups bok choy, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add bok choy and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly wilted but still crisp.
- Return beef to the pan and mix with vegetables.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and chili flakes.
- Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cornstarch slurry and stir until sauce thickens and coats everything.
- Adjust salt if needed and garnish with green onions before serving.
