  • 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups bok choy, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add bok choy and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly wilted but still crisp.
  5. Return beef to the pan and mix with vegetables.
  6. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and chili flakes.
  7. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until sauce thickens and coats everything.
  9. Adjust salt if needed and garnish with green onions before serving.
