  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. Spread beef mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  5. Layer sliced potatoes on top and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  6. Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Pour broth (or water) around the edges and optionally add milk for creaminess.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden and bubbly.
