  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
  2. Season chicken with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and sear chicken until golden on both sides.
  4. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Combine cornstarch with water, then add to sauce.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken, reduce heat, and simmer until cooked through.
  6. Remove chicken, shred it, then return to the pan.
  7. Simmer until sauce thickens and coats chicken.
  8. Serve over rice and top with extra sauce.
  9. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
