- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Pat chicken dry and season with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken on a lined baking tray and bake for 35 minutes, turning halfway.
- Mix BBQ sauce, honey, and soy sauce.
- Brush sauce over chicken and bake for another 10 minutes until sticky.
- Toss fries with oil and seasonings, then bake at 220°C (425°F) for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix cabbage and carrot in a bowl.
- Whisk mayo, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to make dressing.
- Combine dressing with vegetables and chill.
- Serve chicken with fries and coleslaw.
Notes
- Soak potatoes in cold water for extra crispy fries.
- Grill chicken briefly for added smokiness.
- Add chili flakes for heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
